About The Event

Is being over-stressed inevitable in today’s fast-paced world? What’s the difference between stress and anxiety? Is my amount of stress “normal?” Spend time with colleagues learning the answers in an interactive and skill-building format. This session will include practicing 3 effective techniques to manage stress in your body, mind, and spirit.

About the Presenter:

Eleanor Muir, MS, LPC, serves as the Director of Counseling and Health Services at Messiah College, where she has worked for 35 years. Eleanor has spent her career equipping young adults to maintain mental health in the midst of the stresses of college life. She has also taught in Messiah’s undergraduate and graduate programs. Eleanor received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Wheaton College, and a master’s in counseling from Shippensburg University. In her personal time, Eleanor enjoys reading, crossword puzzles, fitness walking, and visiting with her two adult sons.
